About Gangnam Style AI

What Gangnam Style AI is

Gangnam Style AI is a small tool that makes one kind of video: a 19-second, 16:9 night-time selfie performance in which three people take turns singing, dancing and pointing at the camera before they shout the hook together. You add three photos, the site renders the video, and you download it. That is all it does, and we would rather it did that one thing well than a hundred things badly.

Where the format comes from

The sound behind the trend is PSY's "Gangnam Style", released on 15 July 2012. The newer trio format is not about the horse dance. It is about a shared selfie camera that swings from one person to the next so that each of them gets a few seconds as the star. The clip this site is built on was found on TikTok in a post by @clipnova44.ai; we credit it and link to it, and we do not host or show the original video.

How a video is made

The reference clip is a single shot, so it is cut at the ten-second mark into two pieces. Each piece is sent to a video model together with your three photos and a fixed set of instructions that describe who does what and when. The model rebuilds the clip with your people in the three roles, the results are trimmed to the exact length of each piece, joined into one video, and the original sound is laid underneath. Both pieces render at the same time, so a video usually takes a few minutes. If either piece fails, or the join fails, the credits for that video go back to your balance automatically.

What it is not

Gangnam Style AI is independent. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by PSY, his label, YouTube, TikTok or any creator. "Gangnam Style" is used only to name a popular video format. Every video here is generated and is not a recording of a real performance, so please say so when you post it.

Your photos

Photos are used only to make your video. We do not use them to train models, show them publicly or sell them. Please upload photos only of adults who have agreed to appear, and never of minors, celebrities or public figures. The privacy policy and the terms say the same thing in full.

Prices

There is no subscription. Credits are bought once and never expire: a standard 480p video is 100 credits and an HD 720p video is 300. The pricing page shows every pack before you sign in, and a video that fails is returned to your balance without you asking.
